In memory of and dedicated to Elijah McClain and the Black Lives Matter Movement, this drawing on scratch board celebrates the life of the young violinist, murdered by the Aurora, Colorado police in August of 2019. The drawing also celebrates other Black violinists, portrayed from left to right: Jeff Hughes, Kendall Isadore (String Queens), Damien Escobar, Elijah McClain (center), Dawn Johnson (String Queens), Dani Leigh, Ashanti Floyd (The Mad Violinist) and cellist Elise Sharp (String Queens).  This memorial concert challenges and triumphs over the line of riot police, restrained by a line of violins.
