Para Las Rosas y Para los Arboles

This video documents the restoration of the Para las Rosas Mural for the San Francisco Mime Troupe, and addresses the challenges for works of public art in terms of protection and preservation. In this case, large trees were planted subsequent to the creation of the mural without the artist’s knowledge or permission, and she seeks to remedy this for herself and her colleagues.
